Most stroke survivors experience a loss of mobility but in fact, they lose much more. What frustrates them the most is that they cannot pursue their passions anymore. The thought of being dependent on others to even complete small chores like buttoning their shirt or combing their hair is enough to make them feel helpless and give up hope.
